On today's menu we will be discussing the Railroad riots of 1877. Essentially during this time period there was a shortage of jobs and a surplus of workers.Whenever that happens society is struggling. employers had so much power that they could treat their workers unfairly and paid them so little. The working man wanted to complain, but he was so replaceable he could not. The lower class man could not protest his low wage and no benefits stuck in a job that was paying him just enough that he wouldn't be dead. This is terrible I am happy this is no longer allowed a vicious cycle of workers being replaced so easily. If they had so many workers why could they not figure out a way to make more jobs creating more jobs would create more product and make more revenue it would resolve its self why did no one think of this its as if the rich wanted the poor to stay poor back then.
